Alphera Financial Services is part of the international renowned BMW Group. Alphera was developed as an alternative financing, leasing and insurance services provider for non-BMW brands in the prestige and performance classes. Alphera also takes into account the growing trend among younger customers to obtain financing via the internet. The introduction to the United States came 5 years after its initial launch throughout Europe as well as South Africa, Thailand, Japan, Mexico and Canada. Alphera needed to develop a unique voice and visual messaging for its U.S. audience.

Language messaged to the U.S. audience and an abstract photo essay approach was conceived. This was designed utilizing only two ink colors throughout and duotone images. This proved extremely successful and cost efficient in setting the stage for the financial brand’s introduction to the market.
